Swimwear on the coastline that gave the country its name.
Treatment
Purple She is a swimwear label; the Skeleton Coast is fog, salt, shipwrecks and wet sand. The contradiction was the brief. The talent — Chelsi — read the coastline as if she'd been there before, which made the rest of the work easy.
Walvis Bay base, marine permits for the Atlantic-side shoots, 4×4 north past Cape Cross. The fog rolled in mornings as expected; we worked it. Single talent, single photographer, two-person production crew, four shooting days.
Released as the 2023 campaign. The frames are still in rotation across the brand's social and lookbook.
