Five lines of work, run from one studio. Every project scoped to the brief.
Slow. Considered. In-country.
Approach
Nomari is assembled around the work. A small core, specialists brought in per project, and a clear preference for slow, considered production over volume.
One of a handful of production companies certified to operate in Namibia. If you’re shooting here, the in-country list is short — Nomari is on it. We turn down work that doesn’t fit so the work that does gets the time it needs.
The studio runs five lines: commercial production for visiting briefs, ground support for agency-attached crews, off-grid surf expeditions on the Skeleton Coast, fine-art editions, and a small school for emerging photographers. Each line answers a different question; all of them come from the same place.
Namib — 2023
01 — Production
Campaigns, films,
editorials.
Full production for visiting briefs, or ground support when your crew comes attached. Permits, fleet, fly-camps, accommodation, local crew supply. We handle every line below the camera so the shoot lands the way it was drawn.
Direction work too, when the brief calls for Lex behind the camera. The team shifts with the project; the way we work stays the same — prepared, quiet on set, credit where it’s due.

Off-grid surf,
Skeleton Coast.
A limited private expedition through one of the most raw coastlines on earth. Capped at eight seats. Fly-camps, 4×4 convoy, breaks scouted with the local crew. The expedition is sold direct, not through travel agents — once a seat is taken, we close the lineup.

03 — Editions
Print, paper,
place.
Lex’s photography released as archival prints and selected décor objects. Hahnemühle Photo Rag, numbered, signed. Edition sizes published per piece. Sold direct, by enquiry — no reseller margin.

Studio. Field.
School.
One mentorship — six months, two mentees per year. Small group workshops on Namibian locations, capped at six photographers. Industry training for studios producing in-country. Application only; the intake stays small so the work stays real.
